Technical 3D visualisation

These are some examples of technical 3D visualizations. The reproduction of real objects or scenes is becoming more and more important in design work. Here, the task was to design generic, simplified models to illustrate the different steel products used in toolmaking. It was important not to copy a brand or show specific details, but to find a way to simplify the shapes and create a generic look. The unbeatable advantage of the 3D design process is that the base model can be reused to render different camera angles, make lighting changes or texture adjustments, and create output at any desired resolution. The model can also serve as a starting point for animations to explain technical processes..
