I painted this portrait of a tank for my mechanical engineering uncle, who spends a lifetime realizing countless plant engineering projects. I often admired the technical drawings of pipes, tanks, and the so-called Klöpperboden in his office. So my idea was to build up a simplified version of a typical steel tank with a flange in 3D and used it as a digital painting reference. To get a bit of mystery I installed a magenta-tinted megaphone on the top. Why? Translate the title and you will maybe get it. The work was realized within two sessions on a wooden panel of 30 x 40 cm.
